The 120Hz monitors available now may not be the best, but they're much better than any CRT you can find.
My crt does 140 hz as long as I keep rez low. If I take the rez up it does about 85. IMO the 120hz displays in 3d mode are too dark and they dont do blacks very well.

I'm just butthurt that I got 2 470's and then the 570s >= 480's
So if I would have waited 4 months I would have had + 25% performance for the same $$$

Yea well prices change. 4 months is still a long time and if you wait you'll be waiting forever + 470 SLI is still a good setup. All you need is a 2500k+mobo to go with it xD

I get what your saying.
But I got a really good crt and my 120 hz ASUS VG236 3d only works on the bottom 80% of the screen.

My crt has the 3d effect on the whole screen.

My ASUS has dark spots, and a small viewing angle.
My crt does not

With SSAA 4x my crt is significantally better.
Maybe I have a good crt. Maybe my asus monitor + 3d kit (that cost 500$) is faulty after a rma. I don't know.

But the LCD's in walmart and best buy don't look as good as my crt.
Now there are BAD crts, ones that are just bad.
There are bad LCD's; and good LCD's but I've never found a better one than my crt.

And its not downscaled. My crt doesn't go that high in rezolutions before it has an out of range signal.

You might want to check out the AW2310. Despite its price it's the best monitor I've owned.
