Oops, I meant 21. Those.

But they are noisier than the other fans I noted.

I think i'll just get the case, with the hyper 212+ cpu cooler and one extra 120mm fan mentioned in my last post since there won't be any room to fit a 2nd above the first extra fan on the side panel... And off course add my old 140mm TriCool Fan where you said to hang it up. That will make a total of 5 fans (two outtake, three intake).

As long as it will make my GPU run cooler than it does now i'll be a happy man.

I also came up with a problem: I now have a 2,5" card reader, this won't work in the new case doesn't it?

And adding two optional side air intake fans plus the one on your photo isn't going to be some sort off "overkill" for my gpu? There will be three (or two?) fans blowing at the GPU then.

The setup would give four intake fans then and only two outtake fans (top and back), doesn't there have to be a stability between the outtake and intake fans?
I missed this post, If i where you I wouldn use 2 fans on the side pannel, i might have said so earlyer as a typo. just one on the side pannel, and the reason mounting the fans on the HDD cage is the ENTIRE fround of the case is one big pice of mesh with a screen behind it. so getting cool air to the case isnt the problem, more directing it to hot spots such as the area between the GPU and vid card. Things would be a tad diff if you where going to OC this rig. as for thermal past, i use ICDiamond7 and ArciticSilver5 but realy for stock clocks anyting would work. The cooler master CPU cooler comes with some TIM, and ill bet the scythe one dose too.

yes it will. You have 4 total 5.25 bays to put your optical drives and what have you. the case even comes with a 3.5 adapter if you need it

so these are much more quiet? But they only run @ 800 rpm, isn't this too slow for good airflow? Or will the difference be barely noticable...

And now that we're talking about this fan, how loud are the standard fans of the CM690II advanced i'll be getting? If they're also above 20dB, it's no use getting these quiet 800RPM but getting the SFF21's right?

Yes, For stock clocks that will work perfect, tons more flow than your old case...and you can always play with where to stick your fans to get the best results, I have only had less than a week to play with it, and the real fans/cooler anrnt even here yet

True enough.

I believe the 690 comes with blue led fans...might as well pick up a set of blue tricool's to complement them. (not sure what db level the stock fans weigh in at)

Oh ok, so my card reader is 3.5"? It's the same size as the old floppy disk readers...
My mistake
