I will be ordering a new gaming computer in a few mins but...

I'd get 2x 6970 instead of the 6990. Or 6950s and unlock, but that's just me, maybe you're not keen on CF?

Everything else looks good, but why not build it yourself? You collect some knowledge on the way.

I dunno really, i will be playing on a single 24" monitor... 1900x1200 Price is the same for a single 6990 as two 6970...

Will my 850W be enough for cfx?


The reason why i want them to build it is just because i want everything to work properly... I cant be f-ed to get a bad component just to send it back and yeah...

I know how to do it but i guess im just too lazy

I'm not familiar with ati much, but isnt' the 6990 just two corssfired 6970's on one board? In which case the advantage is simply that the 6970's should be quieter and use just a little more power?
