On the subject of the 590gtx that thing is just a overpriced POS! XD
I rather have the 6990 at that point cuase it so much more worth it besides the 3d support is not as good.

I also saw a epik video of someone having 3 3d projectors and posting it up on a huge wall playing games in 3d at some insane resolution at like 5890x1080 or something crazy like that. But that was with the gtx590 so yeh I would only but that card if i could afford the setup like that but that would cost like 3000 dollars or so lol.

I plan on getting a 3d monitor so That be awesome that why im looking at nvidia also just cause of the 3d support basicaly works with any game out there and movie XD

AMD cards supports 3D as well. It's just easier to set up on Nvidia cards. I'd feel limited by 1GB Vram, but that's just me. The 560 is a good card though.

There is no gamble, no one is paying any attention to your silly childish comments/claims.

The only people that got burned voided the voltage limiter usually using the stock cooler as well. My 570 with a moderate overclock scorches any 6950 without going anywhere near redline.
9/10 570 owners are happy with thier cards.
3/10 Radeon owners experience driver issues.

Gamble? Go away hater.
The only gamble is taking a chance with AMD's drivers.

Then again the 570 is a more expensive card. Nice try though.

Definitely overpriced!

But the 590, like the 6990 is only out there so that company can make a claim for the fastest GPU. They are both loud, hot noisy things that get outperformed by setups costing less.

Its the Corvette in the showroom so you buy the Cavalier!
I give the edge to the 6990, which posts a superior 3DMark11.

I'll take GTX 580 performance and a vastly superior/ more reliable driver set/superior tessellation/onboard PhysX/CUDA for $350 thanks.

No problem, too bad that's pretty much the only arguement you got. Pump up the res and 580 SLI can hardly keep up with the way cheaper 6950 CF.

Good cards.

Come again? Show me some tests where a 6950 CF beats a 580 SLI with recent drivers.

OP, there is no legitimate reason to avoid the 570. The "issues" with it are not nearly as serious as AMD fanbois would lead you to believe, and it outperforms the 6950 notably and in most tests the 6970 as well. They do overclock quite well, especially if you get one like the DCII or Twin Frozr II. If the 570 is in your price range, it's the best card available to you. If you have plans for watercooling, I would recommend finding a 480 however, as those cards are amazing under water.

I made a very specific edit that was apparently while you were searching for those. I said recent drivers. December 10&15 isn't exactly recent especially considering that the drivers specifically targeted for the 580/570 came out in January... Yes, AMD's drivers have improved as well, but the SLI scaling on the 500 series has been improving more than the drivers have done for single card setups.
