$700 Build - Opinions - Page 2

Here's some changes I would do:
Athlon X3 450 + Biostar Mobo:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboD...t=Combo.624996
5670 + Corsair PSU:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboD...t=Combo.624968
G.Skill Ram:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231193
Case:
http://cmstore.coolermaster-usa.com/...roducts_id=157

With these combos, price would still be around $700, but you get a bump in CPU speed and a better GPU.

If you're a student by chance you can get Windows 7 Pro right now for $30 USD. Though it's only the upgrade, there are ways around that.

I would also say go with a different PSU. Maybe an Antec Earthwatts or a Corsair Builder Series. You don't wanna cheap out on the PSU, it'll bite you in the rear realll quick.

Buy a used 5770 or 460. You'll actually be able to play games at their max settings instead of medium.
