Need advice on Mobo

Thread Starter
I was thinking of upgrading from LGA 775 and I was looking at this CPU

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819115070

What would be a good mobo(RAM too if you would please suggest any ) for this to go with?

I was possibly thinking Xfire in the future.

Edit: Found this mobo

How is it in terms of quality? Any problems I should know about? Are there any OC'ing Issues?

I like the slot placement on that board. Far more space between the two x16 slots, and an x1 above it so you have room for a sound card.

Go with the ASRock P67 Extreme4. Best board for your money.

Concerning your RAM, what is your budget? If you only need 4GB, this kit would be some of the best you could get. If you need 8GB, these would be perfect. However, if those don't fit into your budget you could always find cheaper RAM with lower timings.

Oh, and what will you be using this build for? If it's just for gaming, you probably don't need an i7. Go with the i5 2500k.

Ill will check those out,and for the use Primary gaming. I WAS looking at the i5s but I said ehh what the heck ill go with the i7s just in case. My budget is a bit unkown right now I wanted to do a full upgrade but for now ill just move into a newer CPU platform.

Edit: Also I think I will go with the 4gb kit, I want to save as much money as possible since Im not sure of budget yet. All really depends how often im called in for work until july.
