Recommend a cheap s775 Mobo

Thread Starter
I'm looking for a cheap but good s775 mobo for a friend. When I first started out, I had a Gigabyte G31M-ES2L which was absolutely great at overclocking; even better than than my current DFI board (?!?). It was able to get a E5300 up to 3.9 on stock volts, but my DFI could only bring it up to 3.9 with a .2v increase in VCore. The only issue with the Gigabyte board was it was not able to change the VCore for some odd reason. I tried updating the BIOS and everything, the VCore would never change.

Has anything changed since then? Would going with mATX or ATX be better? All the guy needs is 1 PCIe slot (of course the more the merrier), and good overclocking ability. Thanks!

It would be best to get a p45 motherboard. At least g43 for the intel ich10 chipset.

These boards don't fall into the cheap category, but can be had used for around 60 or 70 bucks.
