I have a 90$ Xai gaming mouse, the extra 20$ for my 4HD is totally worth it and necessary. I would never use my Xai on the table it would wear out the feet. Not to mention it slides so much smoother and the sensitivity differences is like night and day.

Back when I was using my G5 I never used a mouse pad. After using that mouse for years the feet on it are worn out and all scratched up.

Atm no mouse pad, as my table is coated by a layer of polyurethanic paint which is pretty smooth and works well with my logitech m705. I'm considering maybe to buy one in the future, but atm I don't feel the need.
