Would it be safer to go for a 1200 watt?
Though 2 590s in SLI are stupidly overkill. Id probably just go for one.
How does this one look?

Amazon.com: Corsair CMPSU-850HX 850-Watt HX Professional Series 80 Plus Certified Power Supply: Electronics
Yep that corsairs good. go with a 1000w for overclocking though.

an corsair hx 1000w or a seasonic 1000w
I don't think Seasonic makes 1000W PSUs lol.

850W Max IIRC.

To the OP, the answer is very simple really:

1) If you plan to SLI: 1000W+
2) If not: anything over 750W.

Brands: Seasonic, Corsair, Antec and XFX.

A good 650w is fine for one GTX 590, and a good 900-1000w is fine for two.

If your worried about price go for this Seasonic OEM model. It's not pretty but it's the best. $130

I think im going to go corsair for the Modular design.
Thanks a lot

Do you guys know when the price of the GTX 590 classified will drop down to the $729.99 MSRP listed on the EVGA site?

Its like $850 on amazon now, which seems ridiculous.

I'd skip the 590, personally. I always recommend a quality power supply. Nvidia skimped on their own power supplies (the VRMs on the GTX590s). Not much point investing in a quality system PSU if the manufacturer of your components won't do the same. Heck, by Nvidia's reasoning you could run that system on a Leadman LP-8867, if you used drivers to throttle your components before they went over 200W.
