Oh, I see...BC2 is almost maxed w/mine (AAx2, V-Sync Off, HBAO Off) and I get consistant 40+ FPS with avg around 50...not too bad...but I'd still like to get another HD5770 and see how much that helps.

That system isnt bad, at this point I would only invest in something that can be transfered to your future ivy bridge build, like a SSD.

I'd leave it. It's not worth the money to get an old Core 2 Quad for a relegated system if you're getting a newer/better one.

Ok cool so an SSD setup towards my ivy rig seems like its going to be the thing and running BC2 in 3D on this setup is very smooth and since i will only be playing crysis 2, BC2, hopefully my system will run BF3 in 3d when it comes out with decent settings with hardly any lag, then i'll be happy
