I've had 2. 1 Broke, and i sold it's replacement.

Pretty good value for money if you like blue switches.

The ultimate version is overpriced though just for back-lights and I don't trust razer's rubber coating, seams too likely that it would just rub off.

As far as taking the key caps off to clean it and such, well you can take them off. The only way Razer can find out that you took them off is if you tell them on the phone. It's a mechanical keyboard, key caps are meant to be taken off. Razer is just being a dick about it. So when your talking to Razer support simply do not tell them anything about you removing key caps.

Also what is this graphical overlay people keep talking about? Are you sure your not confusing the Black Widow with the SS Shift, which is not a mechanical?

The one with the graphical overlay is this one

it is amazing!

So what if it's heavy. It is not like I'm gonna be carrying it in my backpack or something, plus it helps it not skid! =] If I knew there was an ultimate i would've saved up the extra 20 and bought it

still love it!

No they're quieter.

browns feel the same as blues, but have no audiable click.
blacks are linear. There is no "bumb" in the middle, and no click.
reds are just blacks, but require less force.

ah, so i do have the loudest ones, i kinda like that biggrin.gif

i could never use the reds, i have heavy hands and usually end up accidentally hitting buttons in games and usually killing myself even with the blues...
