Safest way to increase 5770 Voltage? - Page 3

I really doubt it unless the same regulator gets used in a newer card. While 5770's are beast overclockers they are the high end of the mid range cards of two years ago. Let everything else computer everyone obsessed with the bleeding edge and squeezing as much out of it as possible.

Mine runs at 47c max since I have dual 80-mm fans blowing at it sides via a Sunbeam Rheobus. That's why I want to unlock voltage control so badly since I still have a lot of headroom.

Ahh very nice. I can see why then. I know my screams when I run it oc'd I had it at 1100/1440 but it wasn't anywhere near stable and I didn't want to pump more volts in it.

What I also did is remove the stock thermal paste and install MX-2. I also remove the plastic covers so that my fans blows directly at the heatpipes.
