ASUS P8P67 Pro Restart Issues - Page 2

Setting the RAM timings manually (instead of leaving them set to Auto) fixed the double boot issue for me (not the OP's board model, but maybe a similar root cause in the UEFI code?).

I do not have a double post issue though guys. Although I will try it anyway since ASUS was no help at all lol. By no surprise they blamed the other products in my rig from the CPU over heating which I believe is not the case. They then decided to pick on my PSU. I told them I tested that in another build, and also tried what a user suggested and it works. Said it might be a grounding problem and to build the rig outside of the case, so Ill see what that does.

If I can not get a reliable tech support today, I am just going to drive an hour from my home to return this board and never touch an ASUS board again.

Placed my mobo and components on a card board on my table, set it up, ran it, went smoothly. So tried to replicate my problem which was by restarting my PC via the Windows. Restarted. Tried again, restarted. One more time just to make sure, and it restarted. So I have come to believe it is a grounding issue within my case. I am now going to look up how to take apart my 902 to reach the top of the case where the wires are at. I will most likely be getting a new case anyhow. All the reason for me to get my HAF X or 1200 since I do not know a clue about modding or checking the grounding. Hopefully the new case works out for me.
