Hi guys!

I'm just wondering if anyone knows how well this card performs? Also is it a good overclock version? I've searched few rewievs on the internet but every rewievs says something else :/ So I'm confused. I don't wan't to pucharse that card, my friend really want's to get it. I've told him to get 6950 refference model and unlock it to 6970 but he really want's to get 5870 Lightning, because it's cheap. About 320$ in my country. (Everything here is expensive :/ )

I would say go with the 6950 as well if prices are similar. The 5870 will be very close to the 6950, but with the newer technology of the 6950 its the way to go unless you can get the 5870 for way cheaper.

Heres a link with some comparisons.

Ref 6950 2GB price is the same as 5870 Lightning. I have told him already that 6950 will be a better choice, but he really want's the 5870 Lightning. probably I now why. I have a GTX 260 Lightning and it's the best card I've ever had, he saw my card, how it's ocing and he wants the same series from MSI. I even told him to get 6950 Twin Frozr III which I have about 1 or 2 weeks but I've noticed today that switch on this card is only for cooler performance, not a dual bios switch o.O I think I will probably change my card to unused reference 6950 model.

Edit: As about me is it worth to trade my Twin Frozr III to reference 6950 model? Damn, and whole the time I was thinking it was dual BIOS switch :/
