It's not because of following the main storyline... it for the exact opposite reason. I think I completed 25% of the game before I ever even went to Jauffre for the first time lol.
Unless I am misunderstanding you. All that said, I still like COD Singleplayer style. COD4 is my favorite single player shooter campaign XD
yeah, cause everything you listed that you love and did in oblivion would work in battlefield 3 a game where you are part of the military.
Oblivion lacked a good story, it was short, not well scripted, and boring. In that regard it failed, it was only saved because of the sandbox.
Battlefield 3 will provide a long decent story, with excellent scripted events that make you feel like you are there, as the videos have already shown. The sandbox is the multiplayer, with the ever changing battlefields and tactics of live players.
The thing about sandbox games is that the world waits for you. OMG the fate of the universe is in my hands and is merely hours from destruction, it can wait while i steal everything not nailed down and go do sidequests, the universe will wait for me to come save it. Thats deal breaker right there.Edited by Vhati - 4/6/11 at 12:25pm
