How would I go about removing the Roccat Kone+ Scroll Wheel? (Cleaning)

Thread Starter
Hello,

I've been having this issue lately with my Kone+, when I scroll up or down with the wheel it will sometimes go down a bit if I scroll up and visa versa. I thought it may be driver related so I reinstalled but It still does It.

So I think It might be dust or something under the wheel. How would I go about safely removing the wheel to clean underneath it?

I don't want to try just pulling it off.

I also have the same problem, so am also bumping this! Sometimes, one click up or down on the scroll wheel causes no page scroll at all! are you guys above noticing this also?

Hello,
I'm on my third(!) Roccat Kone+ now, and I've had that exact problem with each Kone+. (and I'm having the very same problem AGAIN...)

If anyone found a way to clean the mouse or fix this problem - please do post it here and let us know!

It's getting a bit ridiculous now, I don't think I'm going to be sending this one back as well, just to get a working one..

Cleaning could very well help though, I had issues with the scroll wheel tilt-functions for a while, and it turned out to be a bit of cat hair that messed it up and gave it issues with registering the tilts
The mouse is absolutely awesome but Jesus, the scroll wheel seems to be uber sensitive when it comes to dust/and seems very susceptible to wear & tear.
I'd go as far as saying that the mouse would be absolutely bloody perfect if it weren't for the fragile and weak-sauce scroll.

until my local IT shops bring in kone+ mousefeet, i wouldn't want to open it up. i had the same issue though, only slightly.
