Personally if I was going to spend that much I would go with the acer and enjoy the extra graphics power. I think you will be happier in the long run even though you might not utilize it completely now im almost positive youll be happy you got the better gpu solution down the road

and remember this is OCN there is no such thing as overkill

Yeah, I think you're right Gonna check out some other places as well, and see if I can find one cheaper

But for now, it's the Acer

If you're going to drop a grand on a laptop, just save up another three hundred and get a Sager with the GTX 460M. There's no reason to skimp out when you're putting down that kind of money for a laptop.
