Giftable Portal 1

No disk =(

Amazon:
£26.94 (for release day delivery. It's £24.91 for free, 3-5 day delivery)
Disk =)

Have to wait for the delivery and there is always a chance of delay.

I just don't know

Get the disk, nothing beats having a great game in-person and having a physical copy of it. 3-5 days will seem like nothing once you finally have it

You should join our club =)

I would get it on release day if I pay that little bit extra and Amazon have a pretty good track record with deliveries...

I guess I'll just have to wait and see what this supposed TF2 item is.

So I guess another pro for Steam just cropped up. The Steam release is the same time globally which means I would get it 2 days earlier than retail.

Steam it is, then. I can always buy a retail copy in a year or two when it's £10 =3

I would rather have the physical copy of the game considering it's a VALVE game and it will be working via Steam.

That's just my opinion though, I would rather have the hard copy of the game and wait 2 more days

I was going to suggest Steam because of their automatic updates, ability to play the game without disc etc. Then I realised that I'd be replying to a question about Portal 2. It doesn't matter either way. You'll need Steam for the game and you will not be able to send it back too. I say digital purely because I think retail copies either get damaged or take up too much space when you have many of them.

Edit: I also think that lately, PC cases are feeling really cheap.

I'm the complete opposite. I HATE physical games. I buy everything digitally. I don't like clutter or owning physical things that I have to maintain, organize, and give space to.

Maybe it's because I enjoy being as minimal as possible. Besides, its greener :]
