This picture below proves:
- HAF X is like 2 inches wider and 2 inches longer
- HAF X has more internal room since hard drives are left to right instead of front to back
- HAF X has more modding potential since most of the mods are already done

Yes I did. Your thread pushed me more and more to review them. I have decided on the HAF X. Does it come with all fans requried to fill EVERY fan slot? If not, then please reccomend me some from Micro Center biggrin.gif

Side note: I also need 2 Push Pull Fans for my H50 as well. I know the talk about the AP-15s, but they do not have them so I am going to pick up what I can from there.

Theres the link. Should take you directly to the fans.

I actually own the DF-85 and it is great, bc it holds my EATX with ease and has plenty of high quality fans with filters. Personally the HAF-X is way to big and clunky also, the motherboard back plate will not match up with EATX boards. Sirjjamesddj did a review on it..

Also Microcenter gouges u one fans... order from newegg

Should also say that I am getting my HAF X with a 20 dollar rebate as well, so that sort o helped since I was leaning on the HAF X but couldnt jump on it. I am going to go down to my local computer store and check out the 85 before I drive an hour to Micro Center

Obviously it also has great cooling ability.
All antecs (except for 300, 100, P180, P182/3) suck, get the haf.

Antec does not know what 'User Friendly' is, Coolermaster on the other hand knows this term very well. Grab the HAF-X.

I'd only buy the 800D if I also bought a full watercooling loop
I think it depends on how you have the 800D set up my case using Xigmatek XLF Series fans ambient temp is about 20 degrees Celsius

I have to say, as a DF-85 owner... I should have purchased the HAF X.

Cable management is a nightmare, sharpedges - had to find my own gromets or use e-tape to protect some of my cabling. Not enough room to get my new "idea" in...

600

This was before I cleaned it up a bit more... but it was pain.

I've had four faulty HAF X's, I therefore cannot recommend the HAF X at all! one of them had a faulty front USB panel, the other three were so out of alignment/shape. that 2 rocked back and fourth on their wheels;, while all of the latter three had terribly misaligned PCI slots. using a bathroom scale and bottle cap as a fairly precise pressure point, I worked out that you needed roughly 20KG of pressure to align the pci screw holes...that's twice Ryanair's carry on limit!!
