Maybe I'm mistaken, but it seems like 1.32v would be on the relatively low end of the voltage range for 4.5

I hit 4.5 @ 1.28 vcore, currently @ 4.85 w/ 1.4 vcore.

i run 5 with 1.384-1.392. It'll hit 1.4 intermittently running prime.

I use offset voltage.

5 takes 1.395 using a manual vcore.

Yea yea yeah, you guys and your awesome chips...lol

I'm pretty sure mine will never see 50x. Nor will I try. I'd settle for 47 or 48 at this point. that is, if I can do it under 1.4v. Really don't want to go any higher than that.

Afterall, 45x up from 33x is still a significant improvement IMO.

By default the 2500k will run at 34x when all 4 cores are under heavy load. But still, 34 to 45 is still a nice improvement. You can always sell your chip and buy another. Might lose a few bucks but you might end up with a better chip.

Not really. Low end is around 1.25v for 2500/2600k.
My 2600k runs at 4.5@1.238v (load), and that's with HT on. With it off it can do that at 1.225v load. Board might overvolt from sensors so who knows if the real vcore's actually 0.02v higher than what HWinfo32 is showing (no DMM,a nd I'm not buying one anytime soon...)

You were probably 1 notch away on vcore from being fully 100 percent stable if it lasted more than 4 hours with p95.
