You should overclock the Phenom 955 to 3.4 Ghz;
The rest of the components is good EXCEPT the power supply. I don' know the brand but for that price you're getting what you pay for. A good PSU does not cost that, that PSU is not even 80 Plus certified. PSU's for that price rarely employ quality components and can't usually deliver the rated wattage continuously - those values are normally peak values and not sustained values.
If you want a reliable PSU get this Seasonic S12II 620w 80 Plus Bronze certified
. It's more expensive, but it's from one of the best PSU makers out there (manufactures many of Corsair's PSU's). 5 star rating.
You can also consider the Corsair TX650w V2
, it gets cheaper after the rebate. 5 star rating on Newegg.
If you want a modular PSU, get the Seasonic M12II 620w 80 Plus Bronze
, it also has a 5 star rating on Newegg, plus they will be fine if you ever decide to get a higher end gaming system, with something like a Radeon HD6970 or a GTX570.Edited by tpi2007 - 4/5/11 at 10:50am
