Dual moitors wont work on 6950 crossfire

I know it has to be the dumbest question y'all have heard in a long time. However, I cannot get my second monitor to work on my 6950 xfire setup.

If I disable crossfire it works fine. I know I cant game on both but I want to gamme on one then have the other for like a diag screen with temps and such.

monitor 1 1920x1080
monitor 2 1600x900

Why will they both work with cross fire disabeled but not on?

Its not possible to have both monitors active while gaming if the cards are in xfire. When gaming the OS will always deactivate the non-primary display. The only way to have it work would be to have each display connect to its own, independent GPU. Of course, if you do this, you will be disabling xfire.

I have tried same card and different.

they are both vga with dvi adapters on them.

I dont understand, I see where others have a second monitor. I understand if I go eyefinity ill need a active adapter. And the screen works on second card when crossfire is disabled. weird.

Huh?

You can game on both, set em up in 2 way eyefinity, now it won't look very pretty with a bezel in the middle of everything.

Holy crappy video, pls turn the volume down!

Do you ever read anyone's entire post. The OP clearly stated that he wanted to run the game on 1 display and diagnostics on the other. If your running Eyefinity, using both displays for gaming, that won't work.
