I need sources for learning embedded C. Currently I have a dev board for the AVR. Specifically I have an Atmega16 to use. I'm sure that is all I will need.
I have these two books to start out with:
Amazon.com: Atmel AVR Microcontroller Primer: Programming and Interfacing (Synthesis Lectures on Digital Circuits and Systems) (9781598295412): Steven F. Barrett, Daniel Pack, Mitchell Thornton: Books
Amazon.com: Embedded C Programming and the Atmel AVR (9781418039592): Richard H.(Richard H. Barnett P.E. Ph.D.) Barnett, Sarah Cox, Larry O'Cull: Books
I hear great things about these two books. They are not super advanced but its a starting point. I made the mistake in college to use basic for my senior design and to not put the time into C. Now I'm paying.
My main request is to find any good websites that have learning materials and maybe some type of projects list to challenge myself learning C.
I can read these books all I want but I cannot learn THAT much without working toward a specific project. I only have a few in mind at the moment.
