Is this build good for around $1000?

Hiii OCN! Was wondering if anyone had any suggestion on this build. It would be for gaming and some photoshopping and stuff. Gaming mostly though haha.

1. Purpose of computer: Games (mostly), schoolwork, some photoshopping
2. Budget:Roughly $1000
3. List which parts you have and/or which parts you are considering:

CPU: i5 -2500k OCed Perhaps to maybe 4.5ghz+ (trying to hit that 5ghz)?
Mobo: Asus P8p67 PRO
GPU: Maybe Sapphire's 6950 2gb Unlocked to 6970?
(But a high chance to do a crossfire in the future) Or maybe MSI since it's cheaper.
Hard drive: Samsung 1TB F3
Ram: 8GB G.Skill DDR3 1600
PSU: Antec TP-750
Case: Lian Li's K62
Optic (CD/DVD/Blu-ray): DVD/CD Combo (Asus)
Monitor (size&resolution): 20"+
Cooling: Cooler Master 212+? (Would that be good for overclocking?) or should I go extreme with either noctua nh-d14 or silver arrow?

Should I go for the 212+? Or should I upgrade and go for the noctua or thermalright?

So, would this fit a $1000 budget? Not sure yet, trying to find some really good deals on everything. How would you rate this build for gaming and stuff?

Thanks everyone!

I like it. 212+ should be fine. Just my opinion but I like this case better.

Hmm, thought Lian Li's Lancool has good build quality? Also, I wanted a side window haha. I read that the Storm Scout can't fit a 6950 anyways right?

Your call. It does have a window. I'm pretty sure it would fit one. I think that would be strange if it didn't.

Oh, didn't see that it had a window. Apparently according to the forum on Tomshardware, the Storm Scout has a max clearance of length 10.6" (without modding) and the card (according to the same forum) is 275mm = ~10.8"

The XFX 6950 doesn't look like a reference card...which means no unlock right?
