Need help about ram/cooler compatibility

Hi there guys i'm new to the forums just joined today anyway to the point i have purchased some ram Kingston hyper x 2000mhz ram the ones with big blue heat sinks here is a link for the ram i am talking about.

http://www.hitechlegion.com/reviews/...000-4gb-review

ok so now i am new with computers and this will be my first build so i just want to make sure i purchase the right motherboard. i was told by the seller of this ram (bought it off ebay) that it is compatible with most sandy bridge motherboards. The motherboards i am choosing between are AsRock P67-Pro or pro3 and/or a Asus P8P67-M Pro (if i decide to go sli) Anyhow would this ram be compatible and or work well with these boards. Now about my Cpu cooler i am still choosing my cooler wondering if coolermaster hyper 212 is a good quality cooler, would it fit easily on these boards with this ram and lastly would it keep my i5 2500k at low temps even with high over clocks any suggestions of other cpu coolers would also be good!

Sorry about the long paragraph i am new to forums in general.. anyway thanks for reading and i look forward to you're replies..

The Corsair H70 / 60 / 50 don't require you to refill. They are fully sealed closed loops, so the liquid inside have no way to escape even through evaporation. Anyways, if you still intend to go air, the Cooler Master V8 is a good choice. Anyways, the Hyper 212 is a decent cooler and it should be able to keep your i5-2500k cool even during overclocks.

thanks for the reply! i am sorta new to overclocking in general would cooler type help with how high i can overclock in any manner or would there only be a temp diff between gettin a cheap air cooler like hyper 212 and liquid cooler such as the corsair? thanks!

granted you will get lower temps from going with a sdealed loop water cooler but as long as your not a temp nazi i think a 212+ should do you fine! i never go over like 65 under torture testing!

The only problem with the 212+ is the plate that touches your proc has grooves so you have to fill them with thermal paste which is fiddley! other than that i cant complain about it!

yea i have heard alot of good results and feedback in general about the coolermaster hyper 212. But i am still juggling between going air and liquid i am thinking either h50 or hyper 212 i guess it comes down to a going liquid for a little lower temps vs air with slightly higher temps for alot less in cost hmm decisions decisions! lol

see u just cant compared with other people temp, coz cooling greatly depends on ambient temperature

all i can say is the best air cooler is NH D14 whih performs as good as H70 or even better
problem is NH D14 is huge and it has compatablty issue

nxt might be somthin V8 V10 there are mny other
