Because to me, paying £2 more to buy from a real retailer is worth the extra expense!
I use Novatech all the time! Sometimes I order over the net. And sometimes I go to one of their shops

The Phenom II design is on par with the Core2Quad design. Since Core2Quad Intel has released core i first gen (1) and core i second gen (2), which is two generations of improvements over Phenom II. This is seen in clock for clock performance, power usage, die size, and all the other little things they changed. Therefore core i second gen is two generations ahead of the Phenom II design.

Now this is where it gets really hard. In order for bulldozer to be two generations ahead of the i7-2600k, it needs to first catch it, which is another two generations. So in total that means "four" generations.
It's funny that you were pretty jazzed for BD before you bought Intel. Now you've completely written it off for some reason? What reason could that be, hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm?

That's great if you live in Dorset!

I don't know where the op lives, but the nearest novatech to me is Reading, which is 117 miles away... or about a £40 round trip in fuel!!! I wish novatech would open a store in either Colchester, Ipswich or Cambridge, then i'd visit it

To everyone else, pay no mind to Balla, he changes cpus more often than he changes his pants (that's under pants to all the Americans), rest assured if BD beats SB he'll be beating the drum about how Sandy bridge bottle necks your graphics cards and Intel are crap... yawn.

I'm not sure I deserve the
But £40 round trip for you is a bit ott
But then again. If you had a problem with a £250 chip, at least the trip is an option!
Plus, I was suggesting he bought it and had it posted

The problem with BellaTheTame is that he/she/it is trying to make himself/herself/itself feel better about jumping to Sandy too soon so he/she/it likes to spend all of (whatever's) days trolling the AMD section and making ignorant, siggable claims.

To the OP, I think that Bulldozer will beat anything Intel has right now at the same price range. Of course, I'm not from the future like bella, so I can't say for absolute certain. I'm just using common sense.
I thought Bulldozer at 3GHz was matching a SB at 4GHz? Or was that bench fake?

Point is, if he orders it off Novatechs website and has it sent, what's the difference between that and ordering from any other website?! The one from Ebuyer was £2 cheaper AND had free delivery, no brainer.

...unless YOU work for Novatech?!

Anyway, CCLonline, i5 2500k £161.52 with free delivery.

Because, for £2.00 OP would have a shop to go to if he ever had a problem with the goods! And, If you can't see this being a good thing. I couldn't care
