Rubbing with a high purity isopropyl alcohol cloth, usually about 99%.

M HSF and my CPU ends up with a mirror polish in just minutes!

Or as Ceadderman said, a blue paper towel! LOL

I just prefer that stuff in my link cause it really eats away any left over residue.

Best stuff on the market.

I would also agree on the Shin Etsu; it comes pre-applied on the Corsair Hydro series coolers, and seeing it "in action" on my H50 has really impressed me.

I am contemplating trying it when I replace my H50 with my new Apogee XT.

I'll be using it with the EK block that I'll EVENTUALLY get.

And I only use Iso. Though the last bottle I got was 60%. It's not bad, I just have to give it a couple more wipes with the Blue Towel to make certain that the CPU is completely dry.

Same here on the EK Block... including the "eventually" part...

Ordered an EK GPU block for my 5850, from some place called Tilatech, like.. almost 2 and half weeks ago. Took them a week to process it and finally send me tracking info, and then another week, for them to hand it off to UPS.. and, I just NOW, got confirmation that UPS now has it.. I swear I was about to cancel the order and tell Pay Pal to refund my money...

Now that its on the way however, I am looking forward to seeing how well it preforms with either some ICD7 or Shin Etsu paste.

I'm gonna get the Classified/RoG Red HF Series block. I have to find black screws for it though. Cause the only silver I want on my board is on the EK MoBo block. If I could figure out how I could get EK to drop red plexi where the silver cover is I'd do it in a heartbeat. Can't believe they haven't figured out that there is a reason people by RoG boards besides their OCs'. I wanted copper bases too but...

Shoulda gone with performance-pcs.com for your EK Rad. I was looking at their 360 but it's too thick for the top of my 932. So I'ma go with a Koolance unit that's 1.5" thick. I need to find an EK or DD pump that's cheaper than what they carry though. Little spendy there.

Its a GPU block, not a Rad

Only reason I went with Tilatech was because they were having a sale on EK products; some items 40 - 50 percent off.. I got the EK GPU block for $60 + shipping, while its price on FrozenCPU and Performance-pcs was $114 + shipping.
