how to remove NH D14 fan clip

i want to put different fan on my D14, but i just can't figure it out...

The clips tuck into a groove cut in the fins. Pull the clip out of the groove (away from the fan) and it should clear the groove. From there the clip should swing clear of the heat-sink. Do the other clip and the fan should come right off.

yea, but i want to remove the 2 wire clips so i can attach a new fan that is not boob colored

Dont hate on the color scheme. . You will just have to play and finagle with them until they come out. But honestly, I dont think the color scheme is that bad but that is just my opinion.
