Need good software to burn dvd's

Thread Starter
I am looking for a good free program to burn dvd's for a dvd player for a television. I tried using windows 7 system program and it took about 1.5 hurs to encode 50% of the dvd which was about 1GB. So I need it to be fast also.

Instead of google searching I thought I'd ask the pro's.

What is the very best free program to burn dvd's?

EDIT

Just downloaded dvdflick.

Dvdflick & habdbrake are two great options for burning to dvd. Now if your willing to spend some mulla down the line may i suggest DvdFab, or ConvertXtoDvd....excellent software.
