I wouldn't bother doing anything in the secondary hard disc optimization unless you're really, really low on space (e.g. 16GB SSD). Moving everything off of the SSD kinda defeats the purpose of having one. I wouldn't move the whole Users folder to a mechanical HDD. It contains user application data and temp directories which could certainly benefit from increased random read/write. It's better to move specific folders such as Documents, Music, Pictures and Video.
That's what I thought, but I kept hearing from people on here that it will deteriorate within the computer's lifespan. To be honest, I haven't done much with my SSD other than turning Indexing off and keeping music and videos on external drives. I'm running with around 5 GB's of space left and it still performs great. Don't plan on getting another one anytime soon, unless it goes on sale for 33% off like it did when I got this one
