6950 CFX Questions - Page 4

I prefer the 6970 bios because after you've clocked it upt 1000/1500 at 1.3v for benching, you'll realistically want to bring it down to 950/1450 for 24/7 use... at this point 6970 bios get you that and it's mild voltage boost keeps things kosher and you don't have to muck around with AB crap juggling ulps and what not, which requires the regular or shader only bios.

I maxed out the OC limit much higher.

Figured I would roll all my questions into 1 thread here so..

What is the best stability tester for the red side? I know on the green side, Furmark was a problem for some cards, hence why I'm trying to be careful to see what is recommended.

Trying to put on some modest overclocks here at stock volts (1.1v), but need to stability test obviously

Furmark is useless for AMD too because these cards have tdp limiters. Run crysis or metro, works pretty good for proving stability. I still use furmark for quickies just to see if everythings ok.

Is 3dmark11 a decent stability test? I got it free with the cards

It works too but imo with Crysis and Metro, it's really hard to cheat them. If you're in any way unstable it will get exposed with those 2 games.
