Looking for a case

Thread Starter
Hey guys, I am in the market for getting a new case. I do not want an HAF series case seeing as I am coming from a Cooler Master Ammo 533, and tired of the Cooler Master signature look. What would you guys suggest for a good full tower/large mid tower case? So far I've been looking at the NZXT Phantom and the Corsair 600T. I need the case to comfortably fit a Thermalright IFX-14 (or Silver Arrow) and to be under 180 USD shipped. Thanks in advance.

Edit: I have also been looking at the CM ATCS 840, but that is pushing it in price.

Edit 2: Need something durable; it must survive multiple moves and the potential destruction of 2 Labrador Retrievers and a Great Dane. Something with good cable management features. Not over the top in looks, but still sleek and not overly plain.

I was going to go with a Dragon Rider full tower case. I would recommend that. It's on Newegg for $160, dunno about shipping.

Yeah, I'd have to find that somewhere else because I don't want to pay an extra 10% from being in Cali. However, not really digging the style, looking for something a bit more sleek.

If you can get some extra money, look at the 650D. But I would personally pick the Phantom over the 600T. Love the white Phantom.

Yeah, I really like the Phantom's look, but I was wondering if an extra large cooler would have a decent amount of clearance. I was also looking at the Silverstone RV02B because its 159 USD on Amazon. Same question goes for the Silverstone. I know the 600T will have the clearance, but I want to find the special edition of it, I don't really like the graphite/gun metal color.

Lian Li PC-P50WB, Lian Li PC-B25F, Lian Li A70F, Lian Li A71F.

The finest cases for $200, not to mention them being in Aluminum.

or you could buy a Lancool (Lian Li sister brand) K63/K62 or a Fractal Design R3/Arc Midi.

The four cases I would suggest are Corsair 650D or 600T and Fractal Design Define R3/XL . First of all, all 4 cases are beautiful. Define series being the best looking of the bunch (subjective of course). Secondly, all three cases have amazing cable management and there's a bunch of space. Fractal Design brings sound dampening material into game too. You can't go wrong with either of them. Hope it helps!

I did consider the Lian-Li cases, and the first two you posted aren't much large than my current case, so those are a no go. The R3 was pretty much the same as those. The A70 is alright, if I can find it for a fair price no tax I might. A few people I know use Lian-Li cases and I just can't get over the fact they feel like cardboard, with 3 large dogs in the house I'd prefer steel despite my case being mostly out of reach. Need this case to withstand multiple moves too. Also, the cable management features are a bit minimal on those, and I'd rather not fret over that again if I can avoid it. Thanks though. +Rep to all you folks.

Yeah, right now I am leaning towards the Corsair solutions. The R3 isn't much bigger than my Ammo, and the XL version has the derpiest top fan solution which I know is going to be bothersome.

Edit: Edited my first post with additional information put forth from various posts.

Don't get R3/XL if you are installing a fan controller. (clearance issues)

and IMO 600T is all fat and roundy.
