OOPS! How will this mobo treat my 1600 RAM config?

Hey there!
I apologize if this topic has been covered before, but it has been difficult to locate the answer(s) I'm looking for.

Here's the deal... I recently ordered parts for a new build, and of these parts, those that are relevant to my question are:
- Asus Sabertooth x58
- G.Skill DDR3 1600mhz RAM (2 x 6GB triple channel kits, equaling 6 2GB DIMMs)

Unfortunately, I didn't locate and read the mobo's manual prior to ordering all my items, which are going to arrive tomorrow. The manual states that it only supports one XMP or 1600mhz DIMM per channel. My intentions were to run in triple channel operation with all 6 slots, at 1600mhz. Naturally, I'm assuming that this won't be possible, due to the apparent limitations stated.
My question is, will it be necessary to scale back all my RAM to say, 1333, in order for them to run correctly? Is that possible? Or is it unnecessary?

Any insight into this would be greatly appreciated.
My main goal is maximum performance and stability, and I'm not too informed about how my setup is going to affect that. I do plan to overclock in the future, but I want my system running properly from the get-go before I step forward.

If any other specs are needed, please let me know.
Thanks in advance.

The board will run the ram at 1600, your looking into the wording too much. This isn't to say that you won't have to go into the bios to set the ram at 1600 but it will run without a problem.

Thanks for your reply!
So am I just misunderstanding what a channel is?

The wording sure is misleading, because I can't see a way around having more than 1 1600mhz DIMM in a channel if I have 6 in the available 6 slots.
The main thing I'm worried about is having all the RAM run in triple channel mode, at that frequency. I just didn't know if my config would affect that, due to the wording.

I think it must be the wording, as long as you have triple channel ram running in 3 or 6 slots the memory will run in triple channel mode.
