[PCR] Is the PC Now Winning the Gaming War? - Page 2

ONCE DEVS FULLY SUPPORT PC GAMING WITH FULL DX11 AND HARNESSING THE POWER OF OUR RIGS, THEN ITS TRUE.
as of now its not happening.

the only reason PC is more popular is because even basic PCs nowadays can run games from them 5 year old crapsoles.

For most people who are over the age of 15, i think PC would be there preferred platform, but they don't know much about it or they can't afford it.

Most console gamers under 15 are stupid fanboys who think quickscoping in mw2 with optic l33tness is the coolest thing ever.

PC has always been winning. Charlie sheen plays it.

Jokes aside, i think that PC has a large playerbase, but it's mostly MMO based. A small portion of "PC gamers" play FPS games. Console's main focus is FPS only so of course it will have a bigger base.

You've never played Unigine? It's a great 3rd person RPG.

Mainstream computers are becoming more and more capable of running the latest games, therefore more people have access to a computer which can run games nicely, therefore more people will play their games on their PC's, rather than shelling out an extra ~$300(+) for a console...

I fear the sarcasm has gone undetected. Like a thief in a night... I am off!

I am fairly confident when I say that video gaming evolved from consoles. Without them, we would still be playing Minesweeper and Tic-Tac-Toe, or Global Thermal Nuclear Warfare.

If anything, game developers are learning how to be efficient and doing more with less. Stop upgrading your computer and you won't have a problem.

only if gta and battlefield series were developed on PCs first, then I would consider this trend reliable.
