rx 240 enough for cpu and 2 gpu????

Thread Starter
is the rx240 good enough for 1 i7-2600k and 2x gtx 570's? all three moderately overclocked. I do have an extra rs-240 laying around i guess i could always add that if needed.

what do you guys think? rx240 alone enough?

No. 360rad at minimum. 240 may pull it off, but everything is going to be running hot. It wouldnt really benefit you temps wise. A 360 rad should handle the temps much much better.

I personally would go with dual 240 rads for a setup like that. Run the CPU on one rad, and the vid cards on the other.

Pump>240 rad>CPU>240 rad>gpu's>res

can the pump that is included the xspc rasa kit handle that much? if it can that would work perfect, because i already have an extra radiator.

I kinda doubt it. You MIGHT be able to get away with that single RX240 depending on your fans and ambient. Regardless, your core temps wouldn't be great, though.

Also, besides having the res before your pump, loop order really doesn't matter. Just set it up so you use the least amount of tubing.

I think it would handle it ok as long as the rads arent super restrictive...

i might just do the top video card then. it runs alot hotter than the other. thats my main concern right now. when overclocking the top gpu can spike in excess of 90c sometimes. and i still want to push it further.

Rads aren't restrictive. You're gonna have really hot temps if you try this. RX rads aren't meant for super high loads, they're meant for low noise so you give up some cooling.

Rasa pump is usually good for a CPU block and GPU block and 1-2 rads. GPU blocks are typically less restrictive than CPU blocks and rads are one of the least restrictive components in the loop. Shouldn't be any reason why this wouldn't work...if it fails, the pump was a lemon to begin with.

1rx240 will not be sufficient for your cpu and 2 gpu's...probably adding another rad and dedicated 1 rad for cpu and 1 rad for your gpu's...pump actually hangs about 3-4 blocks...theres 1 person got his 5 blocks before he change his pump...so i guess u will be alryt to run 3 blocks..
