A good RSS reader?

I'm looking for an RSS reader or whatever they're called that sits in my system tray and has a simple alert like an IM program when ever there's an update. Any idea where I can find one like this?

I know it's a simple question, but Google isn't helping. Also, if at all possible, it would be nice if it started up with Windows quietly (just shows up in the system tray, not opening a window that I need to close out), and possibly changing the icon depending on if there are new feeds or not.

I bet this is a simple answer too...

This isn't what you're looking for, exactly, but rainmeter has an rss reader feature. You can google rainmeter, it's actually a program used to customize your desktop. You can disable everything, except for an rss reader. You can also pick a design for an rss reader on the internet, just search for it.
