$750 Budget Build - Page 5

The power supply won't be enough at full load, period... and you should never skimp out on power supplies. The 12V rail is simply not enough at just 16A, at full load it will go well over.

If you want to run that power supply with everything you may end up having to perform some serious underclocking i.e. locking 1 or 2 cores

Are you sure though? Is there is absolutely no way you can fit:

I found something for you
Coolermaster Extreme Plus 460W power supply - $70.79 - Still a Coolermaster but this is a newer, much better lineup and has 36A on the 12V rail, would be much more suitable for your build than the ones included in the Elites that are in actuality "Thermal Master" low end units that can really only do 300-350W.
Gigabyte GZ-PD - $55.75 - only case I could find that would allow you to remain at $135 or within, but it's pretty much the same kind of internal layout the Elite 334 offers, not too much difference

$126.54
in your budget though!? $126.54 is less than the $135 for the 334/included PSU

The thing is that I got offered this deal which is within budget http://www.computerlounge.co.nz/foru...=22939妛 So I can't do much about it

Also it more convenient for my friend to get it all at one store as he would be paying by cash and have no card, visa etc.

So, I managed to finish build this thing today. And yea the cable management is not that good since the PSU came in short cables. Unfortunately I wasn't able to take more photos because my friend was around at the time and also sorry for the bad photo quality taken by my phone.
