I am an Alienware Admin...No way am I affiliated with EVGA...Simply relating my experiences.

In the aspect of my day, I normally get to deal with 15 hours of work...@ 75/80hrs a week and I want to deal with people that make my life as EASY as humanly possible.

Asus makes my life very difficult so, I only RMA on them with a weekly basis and even then it's a 2-3 hour fun-filled experience with glitter and ponies!

With EVGA, I pick up the phone, dial their number, hit 2, enter the primary serial...15 minutes later, each RMA is complete, I'm done...I can go murder the world on Crysis 2 or take a Men's health and go relish 20 minutes of pure privacy.

Guess which one I actually enjoy calling?

i called EVGA with a small issue with my mobo with the onboard sound, the rep on the phone literally went out of his way to get it solved, even sent me beta test drivers in the end we couldnt figure it out, and he even apologized, he offered me an RMA, but i figured id go buy a sound card instead, he took no offense and figured it was a wise decision, because my pc cant be down at all, i use it for buisness operations during the day, and gaming at night

Asus has been doing TERRIBLY lately, especially in the motherboard dept...I seriously can't relate it to anything because it's so hit or miss, it's amazing.
Ive had quite a few Asus motherboards. Never had a problem with them. The only board i recall having any issue with was my old P7P55 the onboard sound died on me. This may be be different from other peoples experience. But im not seeing many issues from them as of current.

Thread Starter
I just got off the phone with Mike. Looks like I need to get a new board now. Preferably under $150.

I want an ASUS board though. Any recommendations?
