MSI 880GMA-E55 Problems

Thread Starter
Hey guys. I purchased a MSI 880GMA-E55 from NE recently for a budget build and I finally got around to assembling everything yesterday. The build works great, but I cannot get a CPU temp reading from either the BIOS or a software tool in Windows 7. Every once in a while it will read 1C, but then drop right back to 0C.

I've tried 4 other AMD CPUs and they all do this, so I'm assuming its something with the board. I can't really overclock my chip if I can't get any temp readings or even semi-accurate temp readings.

Should I go ahead and process a RMA through NewEgg?

ACC is disabled. I tried that right off. It actually made the temps go into the negative range when enabled, so technically it got better with it off

I sent an RMA request to NewEgg and they've approved it, so it looks like it's going back. They nice lady on the phone let me put the credit towards a 890FXA-GD65 since this board is only two weeks old.

The 890FXA-GD65 would be a great board to get in trade
