Which pump for which waterblock ?

Thread Starter
Getting AC Cuplex Kryos HF soon , so I think this is a good time to make 2 loops
Which is better combo :
Laing DDC 3.25 - gtx360 - EKFC5870
Swiftech MCP 655-B -gtx360 - Kryos HF
or
switch the pump ?

I'm thinking to add mobo's NB waterblock in to the loop , since it come with fixed 3/8 barbs , what's the best way to use ?

Both pumps are good, it all depends on how much room you have.

655 is for smaller loops where the 355 is good for a loop with 3 rads and 3 blocks.

Any reason why you want 2 seperate loops?

Imo one loop will perform the same or very very similar to 3 separate loops and is not worth the paying. For 2 extra pumps and reservoirs plus its another 1 to 2 loops to drain fill and bleed.

Also the 655 is good for any loop that doesn't have a mobo block or RAM coolers which can be very restrictive. The 355 is good for loops with those restrictive components.

One loop, skip the NB, either pump will work fine.

If you are doing two loops, then even the MCP350 pump would work well in each application.
