Replace stock H60 fan with Ultra Kaze 2K?

Thread Starter
Hello all,

I just mounted up my new Corsair H60 water cooler and I'm very pleased with it so far! I found an Ultra Kaze 2K laying around my place and was wondering if it would out perform the H60 fan. For reference, the H60 fan is 25mm thick, 1700rpm, 74.4CFM, and pulls 3.2mm H2O.

So would the UK2K outperform the stock H60 fan? I don't mind the UK2K noise.

Follow up question, how would the single UK2K hold up against a push/pull Gentle Typhoon 15 setup?

Lastly, UK2K push/pull or GT-15 push/pull?

If you're solely concerned about performance, I'm quite certain the UK will outperform the stock fan, and UK p/p should beat GT p/p. I'm not sure about a single UK vs GT p/p, though.

If noise doesn't bother you, go for it. The GT's will obviously be quieter, but the UK's will perform better.
