Memory Suggestions for Crosshair IV Formula

Thread Starter
I have figured out all the parts that I am going to buy for my build except for the memory. It would have been a no brainer if the G.Skill Flare 8gb(2x4gb) were ever in stock anywhere, but sadly that isn't the case. What I am looking for is memory that I can OC to either 1866 or 2000 with the ASUS Crosshair IV Formula, and it has to be an 8gb(2x4gb) dual channel kit. Money is not an issue but I would like a kit that comes with a cooling fan like the Fares do. The problem is trying to find memory that is compatible with the Crosshair IV Formula.

Thank you so much for your help as it is greatly appreciated. biggrin.gif

The Corsair Dominators are memory that I have considered. But they are not cheap, but you get what you pay for right? In the end I am really considering this set of Corsair Dominators.

I think I read in the Newegg feedback that the Corsair Dominator's cooling fan doesn't even fit on Asus motherboards.

Just get Mushkin. G.Skill is the optional. Corsair's overpriced and Kingston isn't worth it. The only time I recommend Corsair is for performance and looks. The Mushkin Ridgeback looks great too though.
