The only thing i don't like is for my kids tvs I have to rent the little adapter box, I can't plug coax strait into the TVs.

Your going to enjoy it.
Regarding the set top boxes, the bundle covers the rental fees for a year, but beyond the first 3 TVs, Verizon wants $19.99 per TV to set up the box. I'm a mechanical engineer who's more than capable of setting up a STB. Can we order the service with 3 TVs and simply order more boxes?

You can rent a digital adapter from FIOS, I think that's what they call it, for only a few dollars a month. The adapter will give you all of your channels for SD tv sets, but it won't have the features of the TV guide menu. This is what I did for my kids TV sets.

Thanks for the followup. Did you have to pay for them to come out and deliver the adapter? ($19.99 according to the website).

meh, its fast but its not like is that fast. the internet at work is 100/100 and so is the connection at my dad's house in Chattanooga

my connection at home is 30/3 but the thing you should love are the insane ping times. you can game with basically no lag.

Two of us play Black Ops and BC2, so I definitely look forward to that. I spent enough $ on the right TV and monitors to minimize lag. Weakest link is the cable at this point.

I had mine installed when the initial install was done, so I'm not sure if they will charge you to bring out the adapter, most likely they will.

I have the same package. It seems everyone in the house is very happy with it. Me and my bro really like FIOS and our ping dropped since we had cable. TV stations are good for everyone else. Overall the FIOS package is great

I switched out from time warner and will never go back lol. Fios is great.
Old internet with tw 8-12 download/ 800kbs upload
fios 25-30mb d/l and upload
reduced youtube upload time (all hd videos) from 1-2 hours with tw down to 15-30 minutes (and less) with fios.

I have had 20/5 for a while now and they are finally bringing TV to our area. The installer is coming next Friday. FiOS is amazingly awesome, except for one thing...the router is crap. They don't offer a wireless N router and you HAVE to use the one they provide you. Apart from that its the best thing ever. Their also changing our internet to the 35/35, we got the ultimate HD package, an its still cheaper than time warner.
