laptop looks pretty good. vid and cpu is good for avg gaming. crysis 2 might be struggling on it but just turn down the settings.

the ebay store looks legit. u normally stay away from the ppl with only a few ratings.

Wouldn't this (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16834115987) be mostly the same specs with a bigger hard drive and a cheaper price?

This laptop has a Core i5 2520M(Sandy Bridge) faster than the Core i5 480m. 2nd generation Core i processor which is more battery efficient. $30 more(a little over your budget) and you can get a quad Core i7 2630QM.

The Core i5 2520M turbo boost goes up to 3.2Ghz while the Core i5 480m Goes up to 2.9Ghz

If I can manage to get my hands on this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/MSI-GX640-i5-2-4...ht_3999wt_1141

Would it fair better than the Sager even though it has a slower CPU?
Graphics card is better so if you want to game it would be a better laptop but battery life wouldn't last as long as the Sager.

Hello! I'm looking to buy my first laptop. My needs are studying (means office programs), internet browsing, maybe movies and i think that's it. (Maybe some "lightweight" games).
The cheapest ones in my country are Lenovo G560 0679-B6G and HP G62-B50SJ LD655EA .
In terms of performance - i dont really care(though HP has +1gb memory, means it it would be easier to run win 7, otherwise i'll have to install XP), as long as it is cheap. My real concern is reliability. Has anyone dealt with cheap Lenovos and HPs?

My decision is between these two at the moment:

http://cgi.ebay.com/MSI-GX640-i5-2-4...ht_3999wt_1141

http://www.xoticpc.com/sager-np5160-...wconfigure=yes

Unless some amazing deal rears up soon, it's going to be one of these.

Where it says "No Operating System Standard - Drivers & Utility Software Only" does that mean it doesn't come with an operating system installed?
