Questions about LG N2B1D NAS

Thread Starter
Thinking of getting it to replace my Blu-ray drive and as a way to not have to buy an external enclosure to use my internal 2TB HDD from my desktop, but I have three quick questions:

-Is it possible to boot from the NAS's optical drive? Like, if I want to re-install Windows 7 on my laptop (which doesn't have an optical drive), can I install it over the network or something?

-Would connecting it to a wireless access point or bridge work? I want to have as little cables as possible, and I also don't want to connect it to my router (since it's downstairs, making the optical drive pretty much useless)

-Does it work with 3TB hard drives? 2TB drives apparently work from the review's I've read, but I can't find any info on people trying 3TB drives, or the manual specifying a 2TB HDD limit or anything like that

I am considering this device for home use as well, were you ever able to find an answer to your questions, mainly #3. I plan on purchasing the diskless version and sticking in a set of 3TB drives.
