Using mobile in USA - Page 2

Wow that's cheap. My dad and me are on verizon with unlimted data for both phones, text and 700 shared minutes which comes out to about $170 month. As for 3g where we live it's about 1.5mbps full signal. Grrrr, at least the coverage is good.

How long will you be here in the US? Where are you going to be? If for 30 days or less, you could always go with T-mo's even more plus plan and cancel.
Maybe find someone who has a T-mo and add a line for you to use, then return the phone?

There's free wireless everywhere. Even on intercity buses!

You should be able to find it on the US T-mobile.com site. Is basically sameas their regular plans, but there is no contract and if you already have a phone to use they give you a sim card, otherwise you pay full price for a phone.
