That sounds about right... I can recall seeing this on a "console booth" at the local fish'n'chips purveyors, if I recall correctly there was Sega's "Altered Beast" sitting right next to it

Altered Beast... I have not thought about that game in a long time. Ah the good old days.

An old favorite from my early gaming days with the Genesis. Side scrolling beat em up at its finest. You could play as a Kangaroo with boxing gloves, runnin around beating up Thugs... so much win.
I don't recall that feature

I'll admit to still owning a Sega Megadrive and assorted games, anyone remember Desert Strike? I lost so many hours to the game, well that AND Sonic's various adventures

Streets of Rage 1 was kinda fun, but Streets of Rage II was just awesome. Streets of Rage 3 was fun as hell (and that's where you could be a kangaroo beating people up if you played your cards right with the first mini boss) I own 2 and 3 and still play them on a semi-regular basis. I'll have to check this site out. Thanks OP!

The entire Strike series was awesome! Desert Strike, Jungle Strike, and Urban Strike were all more fun than monkeys farting in a bathtub.

Ahh the good ol' days. They just don't make games like they used to...

EDIT 2
Main link for article works, but link to d/l game does not work.
