Upgrading GFX Cards from DX10 -> DX11

post #1 of 4
Thread Starter
Would it be worth it to get rid of my two 8800gts 512(g92)'s for a MSI 560GTX ti? I really just want dx11 tbh. Is it worth it to upgrade right now or should I wait til they drop in price?

I'd go for it. The price for a gtx 560ti has already greatly dropped and you could find one for around $230 and could SLI later on(650w) might be pushing it though

i would say do it or you could get a reference 6950 and if you get lucky successfully unlock the rest of the shaders

I'm still holding out for more games to take advantage of DX 11. When more games start using it I'll shell out the money to upgrade, but I don't see too much of a point yet. Although if your FPS's are starting to dip low, it would be worth the upgrade.
