I just stopped Prime, gonna make some changes. If I want to bump it up to say 4.4 should I just mess with the multiplier or do I need to change anything else.

If you can, try to get a push/pull config going on.

The maximum multi the 920 can pull is 21, so if you wanna go 4.4.. you're gonna have to bump past 1.37, risky but I wouldn't try on air if you 24/7, a friend tells me that'll degrade my 920 over time so I stick to my 4.2 GHz 24/7

Is 200mhz a big difference? I'd stick to 4.2 on a 1.35 voltage!

Good advice from SpammisT. When trying to reach 4.4, you'll have to start pushing some serious voltages. Although it can be done, it would be best to be on water at that point. Also, you really won't notice a difference from 4.2 to 4.4. By the way, call me extreme, but I don't call any of my computers stable until they can pass 24 hours of Prime95 Blend. I've actually had some fail 12 to 14 hours into it. Once stable this way, they've never failed me again (no matter how hard I've pushed them).

I'll try running it for 24 hours on Monday when I'll be out of the house.

Another thing, how come when I set my cpu frequency at 200 so it's 21x200, when I boot into windows its becomes 21x199.5 =4.189 ?

I'm not sure why the frequencies show up like that. I'm guessing it has to do with the way the software reads and calculates the values. I always trust the BIOS first. If you look at your Frequency/Voltage Control screen, you'll see a Target CPU Frequency. Additionally, if you want it to look more like 4.2 in Windows, just set your CPU Host Frequency to 201.

By the way, another good monitoring tool is EVGA E-LEET (attached). You can also use it to overclock, but we all know better than that.

i bumped up the bus speed to 201, it shows up as 200.5 but I don't care since it still shows up as 4.2 in CPU-Z . I'm gonna run prime when I go out of town on the weekend.

I ran the OCCT test for 2 hours without a problem but when I ran the Linpack test, I got an error after 6 min. Is there a way to find out what the error is, or should I just pump up the voltage and run it again.

I'd say Linpack is the most stressful test out of the 3 stress test you have ran so far. IMHO, Prime and OCCT take too long to run compared to LinX. Not only does LinX take less time, but it finds the instabilities in your OC faster.

However, It is always good to run a mix of stress test to ensure complete (or as close as you can possibly get to it) stability. I'd say 20 runs of LinX on max memory and Prime for 8-10 hours should do the trick
