FnkDctr, you're using 8800GTs. SLI has been much improved since those cards. GTX460s scale at 90% and up with games that have proper SLI support and have no microstuttering issues. At least, I haven't had any.

Anyway, I do prefer single cards mainly because barely any games need the power of two cards. Games are stagnant right now, due to consoles lagging behind and developers not utilizing DX11.
